Dr. Michele French, DC
Hi. I’m Dr. Michele French, a chiropractor licensed in Arizona and Oregon, a U.S. Army veteran, and the founder of Mobile Spine & Movement Care. I run this mobile practice for people who want to move better, heal naturally, and stay active without immediately being funneled into medication or the traditional medical system.
Like many veterans, I still carry injuries with me, including a traumatic brain injury, chronic neck pain, and persistent headaches. I’ve spent the last 10+ years searching for approaches that help me so that I can help others. This practice is a culmination of that. Welcome 🙂
My work in conservative care started long before I ever became a chiropractor.
After serving in the Army, I entered the healthcare world as an esthetician, thinking the spa music, calm environment, and low lights would be wonderful for me. Eventually, that got really boring… I went back to school and I worked my way into advanced neuromuscular massage therapy. It was during that time that I discovered chiropractic, and my entire life changed. After a particularly intense upper neck adjustment, my headaches decreased and light sensitivity improved. There was something almost magical about it.
I became deeply interested in chiropractic philosophy. Working hands-on in chiropractic offices gave me a front-row seat to how the body responds to trauma, stress, and repetitive strain. I saw how this care helped real people with real lives. That experience, along with the care I received, shaped both how I continue to heal and how I practice today.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sports & Health Science from American Military University, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology while completing my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States. Along the way, I continued to expand my training in movement, rehabilitation, and strength-based care.
I tend to explore and integrate a variety of modalities, but I only use those that genuinely make sense to me or have personally helped me. Today, I blend chiropractic care, neuromuscular techniques, and corrective exercise to create a personalized, movement-based approach to pain relief and long-term function. My goal is not quick fixes or dependency, but education, resilience, and improved movement over time.
My care is evidence-guided, patient-centered, and focused on restoring movement, strength, and confidence. I work hard to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and involved in your care, rather than rushed or talked at.
I am also trained as an Adaptive Athlete Coach through the Wounded Warrior Project and Soldiers to Sidelines, which allows me to better support veterans, tactical athletes, and individuals navigating injury or chronic pain. I understand the physical demands and mindset that often accompany these experiences, because I live them too.
Outside of work, I try to make movement a central part of my life, as it supports both my physical and mental health. I enjoy gardening (especially tomatoes), hiking, traveling between Arizona and Oregon, and spending time with my family and my fiancé, Brian. I recently became a dog mom 🙂 and I’m looking forward to future service dog training with my buddy Goose, who already keeps me on my toes.
I am also actively involved with The Called Co., a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to conservative care through community-based outreach.
